Jessica Schmoll, MS, LPC, CPCS

The Stats:

Jessica Scmoll, the owner of Wiser Ground LLC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with 19 years of experience in the field of mental health, and a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS). Jessica specializes in working with adults facing various challenges related to mental health/wellness, life transitions, and personal and professional relationships.  

Having held corporate and leadership positions throughout her career, Jessica has a particular passion for, and understanding of, working with professionals and leaders seeking to make space for balance, joy, and meaning, both inside and outside the office. 

Jessica has experience leading workshops and groups that focus on adults and professionals recovering from substance use disorders and various mental health conditions, that encourage self-care, connection, and healthy boundary setting. She even spoke on the topic at a national Behavioral Health Summit in Minnesota that focused on best practices in addiction and co-occurring disorders treatment.

Jessica has worked in a private practice setting for 14 years in addition to working in psychiatric hospitals, running a community mental health clinic, and leading a long-term residential treatment center. Jessica also served in a leadership role developing mental healthcare strategy for the state of Georgia for a multi-billion-dollar, nonprofit corporation.  

Jessica enjoys working with interns and associate-level counselors working toward LPC licensure, and has done so since 2014. Jessica takes a person-centered approach to help supervisees find their unique voice.

Jessica holds two Master of Science degrees in business and in counseling, one from Northeastern University in Boston and one from Georgia State University in Atlanta. She has a bachelor’s degree in communications from UNC Chapel Hill.
