Hannah Simmons, LAMFT
Hi, I’m Hannah Simmons, an associate-licensed Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to helping individuals like you navigate life’s complexities. I specialize in supporting young adults and adults facing anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, and more.
With a warm, collaborative approach, I provide a safe space where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions, gain clarity, and build resilience. Whether you’re managing career changes, coping with stress, or strengthening connections with loved ones, I am here to help you find balance and thrive.
Maybe you have just been through a major life transition, or perhaps you feel a general sense of anxiety or sadness all of the time…Regardless, anxiety, sadness, and change can be scary, overwhelming, and isolating. No matter what is happening in your life, it can be beneficial to talk to someone who has an outside, unbiased, and supportive perspective. I would love to be that person for you. Together we can map out a plan and come up with coping skills and strategies that work best for you.
One change that can trigger a mental health crisis or general emotional decline is starting a family or for a woman, giving birth. This event and transition to parenthood often present unforeseen challenges. It is normal to feel anxious, scared, or sad during this time. I can create a safe, nonjudgmental space for you to process these feelings as you enter this new stage of life, and gain the tools you need to feel better.
So, I encourage you to take the first step in your healing journey by reaching out – you’re so close! Allow me to help you feel heard, and travel with you through your fears of the present and future, as well as navigate your pain from the past. In doing this, you can gain confidence for life’s challenges that inevitably will occur.
My passion for working with anxiety stems from my own journey – I know what it is like to feel it, as well as what it is like to experience relief from it. If we work together, you can experience the relief you seek.
Outside the therapy room, I spend a lot of time with family, friends, and my new puppy, who consumes lots of my time! I love learning new things, reading, and binging Netflix shows.
